Biography

Hrovard is a big strapping Dromaar and the youngest of four siblings from the quiet village of Redleaf in the Eldeen Reaches on the Waynwarn river, on the border with Aundair. People in this area do have some ancestry with warrior and druidic adventurers. Although officially a peaceful area, there are sporadic raids from Aundair into the Eldeen Reaches by over-zealous members of the Church of the Silver Flame.
During one such raid, the fury Hrovard can call on became apparent,
when he was helping to defend his village. This triggered wanderlust with Hrovard over time. Eventually covering a varied path with a succession of group of adventurers improving his skills and abilities. From a number of fighters and rangers, he came to
favour the use of one-handed weapons, like axes, that had practical use for survival.
Hrovard also has the ironic nickname of "the Runt" because he is the youngest of four. Hrovard is a follower of Dol Dorn, Sovereign of Strength and Steel. As such he values the use of wisdom, inventiveness and ferocity in battle. He sees combat as a duty, even if it might mean shoehorning what duty means in a given situation. And, as befits followers of Dol Dorn, Hrovard, does not look at all favourably on cruelty in a combat.
Any cruel streak Hrovard could have had was tempered by a mercenary he worked with who used some alchemical skills to save his elder sister who was deathly ill with a fever.
Since he missed an opportunity to help rid the town of Lakeside of some wandering monsters. It was by shear chance that Hrovard happened to be in Karrnath, where he joined Alicia, Ferdinand, Eriana, Harbek and Leodegar.
