Session Log

The session begins in mid combat. The party is in a 25 foot square chamber holding the doorway to a 35 foot long hallway. There are four necromancers at the far end of that hallway with summoned undead between them and the party.
As the fight continues, the undead attack the party while the necromancers cast spells at the party from down the hallway.
Sarroxtíoð fights at the doorway with Ferdinand. Everyone else provides range weapon and spell support.
They are successful in destroying several of the undead, but when one undead is killed one of the necromancers summons another one to replace it. This prevents any of the party members from being able to reach the necromancers to attack them directly. It seems their best hope is that they can hold on and the necromancers will run out of spells so they can get to them.
The necromancers keep hitting the party with Harm spells, slowly wearing them down. The party begin to use their healing potions to keep themselves going. At one point Ferdinand gets into the hallway, but takes a fair bit of damage and retreats back into the room to get patched up by Alicia.
Sarroxtíoð pushes down the hallway after he retreats, but quickly finds himself flanked by another summoned undead creature. He ends up falling from the undead attacks and necromancer Harm spells. Harbek and Alicia manage to get him conscious briefly and he pretends to remain unconscious, but one of the undead crouch down and critically hit him with a bite, killing him.
Meanwhile, another undead was summoned into the middle of the room to fight the party, drawing Ferdinand back to deal with it. Alicia got briefly paralyzed and Harbek was also paralyzed shortly after that. Eriana was grappled and badly injured as well. She manages to get free and consumed a couple of healing potions to get her health to a reasonable level.
At this point with one party member down the necromancers call out to the party "It is over. You have lost. Surrender now and we may be merciful."
Alicia scoffs at this and mumbles that they are heretics, taking a shot at one of the necromancers and missing. She is hit by another Harm spell afterwards, knocking her unconscious and dying.
At this point Leodegar says to the party "I think we should capitulate... I mean surrender. Necomancers here are not evil - our best chance to get out of this is to surrender." He leans over and pours a healing potion into Alicia and tells her she must stand down or she will be killed. Alicia reluctantly decides to follow this advice.
Eriana has a moment of indecision then decides to act. At this point the undead summoned into the room was taken out by Ferdinand and Leodegar. There are two undead in the hallway and all four necromancers. She decides to make a run for it - rushing down the hall and attempting to tumble past every enemy in her path.
She only fails once against one necromancer, but ultimately succeeds in getting a few feet past the last necromancer.
While she is on the run the rest of the party surrender and lay down their weapons.
Two necromancers move to try and catch Eriana. One of them summons another undead to block her path, but she tumbles past it as well. The summoned undead and both necromancers begin to chase her, but she is much faster on foot than any of them. Eventually she reaches the double doors to the crypt and runs outside and out down the path to freedom.
The other two necromancers apprehend the remainder of the party, and one of them apologizes that Sarroxtíoð is dead and cannot be saved.
